Update as of 11/13/2024

Availablility :

Weekends:

We will only be renting the lodge to individual groups .

Farmhouse.

For the time being, we won't be renting the rooms in the farmhouse except to groups that are also renting the lodge. This may change .

Barn.

The barn will not be open and heated this winter without special reservations.  It will be available for rent to lodge guests or independent groups as a private indoor space. See pricing information below.

Trails.

The trails are in great shape. Extra time during the pandemic allowed us to build some new trails for mountain biking and snowshoeing. Most bridges were repaired and signage was replaced. This past summer I have been focusing on pruining low branches and brush cutting.

Grooming.

We are not going to fight nature as much.  When the snow is soft, we will groom for classic xc skiing and snowshoeing.  When it is hard, we will groom, as needed, for winter biking and hiking. We will continue to post conditions daily when snow arrives.

Meals.

After 40 years of providing complete meal packages, we have decided to retire from this aspect of what we do. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and do their own cooking & clean up. We may be able to put you in touch with local food purveyors who can provide group "take-out" if you don't want to do it all yourself.

Pricing. Effective Dec. 20, 2024 - Mar. 23 2025

Guest Lodge: $745/night on Friday & Saturday nights as well as holidays/school vacation weeks, $495/ night other times. Friday and Saturday nights must be reserved together. Farmhouse $195/night (can sleep 6-8 in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms)

Barn - $200/weekend. ($300 on 3 day weekends)

tax extra.

Trail Fees:

Previous seasons we offered lodging packages that included a trail fee. We are no longer charging a trail fee for lodge guests or day users. I donate my time to keep the trails open. It costs about $10,000 a year to operate, maintain and plan for eventual replacement of machinery. We do accept donations(totally optional) for these expenses.

Deposits:

A deposit of 50 % of the expected amount due is required upon reservation.

Cancellations/refunds:

If you cancel, refunds will only be possible if we can refill your space.  We can't issue refunds for weather related reasons. We can work with you to adjust arrival and departure times if the roads become impassible for a time. Do click on the COVID-19 tab for more info. If we do refill, we reserve the right to deduct a $200 service fee from your refund.
