Situated atop a high meadow in rural northwest Massachusetts, our facility provides a spectacular wild setting for a multitude of experiences, including cross-country skiing/snowshoeing/biking, retreats, workshops, reunions, and weddings. A new cycling adventure awaits!

The Franklin Land Trust is excited to offer a new, unique opportunity to explore the back roads of western Massachusetts while supporting efforts to conserve the landscapes, that make this area so wonderful to visit.

May 17-19, 2019

Who?  Individuals, couples, bike groups - all welcome.   Space is limited to 20 people! 

What?  The package includes  2 nights accommodations, 6 home cooked meals and amazing D2R2-style rides Saturday and Sunday.

Cycling options will be custom designed to accommodate the desires of participants. D2R2 style routes will be supported with a combination of maps, gps directions, cue sheets, a sag stop or two and just maybe a few local guides.

Why? Promote local land conservation efforts while enjoying a weekend of great food, scenery, camaraderie and back-road bicycle adventuring,

Where?  Stump Sprouts Lodge a rustic, hand-built guest lodge located atop a high meadow with sweeping vistas across the Deerfield Valley.
